The 2010 Virginia School and Campus Safety Training Forum will be held July 12-14, 2010, at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside in Norfolk, VA. This year's forum will provide all attendees with one full day of keynotes followed by two days of plenary and breakout sessions covering a comprehensive range of school and campus safety topics. These specialized trainings will include Bullying Prevention and Intervention, Legal Updates for K-12 and Higher Education, Campus Sexual Assault, the new Virginia Rules Law Related Education Program, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, Underage Drinking and much more.
Partnering with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services to offer this collective training opportunity are the Department of Health, Department of Education, Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Department of State Police, Office of the Attorney General, and the Virginia Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators. Conference attendance will provide a wealth of information to anyone interested in the most current school and campus safety issues and concerns.
The registration fee for the forum is $25.00. Please be sure to register early as participation is limited. The deadline for registration is July 2, 2010.
