SUBJECT: Charter School Report for 2009-2010
Section 22.1-212.5 of the Code of Virginia requires that the Board of Education report the number of public charter schools established in the Commonwealth, as well as the number of charters denied, in its annual report to the Governor and the General Assembly pursuant to Section 22.1-18. To comply with this Code requirement, please complete the attached Charter School Report for the 2009-2010 school year by August 6, 2010, and fax it to Diane Jay, associate director, in the Office of Program Administration and Accountability.
