Virginia Tech has announced that the 2010 Educational Technology Leadership Conference (ETLC) will be held November 30 – December 2, 2010, at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia. This will be the 16th year for the conference which addresses issues of concern to the K-12 technology community.
The two strands for the 2010 conference will focus on the goals and objectives of the Educational Technology Plan for Virginia: 2010-15 and successful approaches to virtual learning and the technologies that make virtual learning work. Scheduled speakers are Dr. Curtis Bonk, author of The World is Open, and Dr. Tim Tyson who will share his expertise for integrating technology into the entire school plan. Details for submitting a proposal can be found at http://www.etlc10.org/presenters.cfm. The deadline has been extended to October 31, and proposals may be submitted online.
