Virginia Tech has announced that the 2012 Educational Technology Leadership Conference (ETLC) will be held November 5-7 at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center in Roanoke. This will be the 18th year for the conference which addresses issues of concern to the K-12 technology community.
The overall theme of the 2012 conference is e-learning leadership. There will also be opportunities to learn about innovative and productive uses of technologies in virtual and non-virtual schools and share approaches and experiences related to the five major components of Virginia's educational technology plan. Several sessions on Department of Education programs and initiatives, as well as sessions on the benefits and challenges associated with flipped campuses, and bring your own device (BYOD) policies and strategies are planned.

Details for submitting a proposal can be found at http://www.etlc12.org/presenters.cfm. The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, October 22, and proposals may be submitted online.
