SUBJECT:  Final Title II, Part A, Allocations for the 2012-2013 School Year under Provisions of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA)

Attached are the final 2012-2013 allocations for Title II, Part A, under provisions of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA). These funds are available through the Department of Education’s reimbursement process.

Upon approval of a school division’s application by the Virginia Department of Education, the school division will receive an e-mail with instructions to log onto the Online Management of Education Grant Awards (OMEGA) system to review the grant award notification. If the final allocation for the division is different from the amount on the consolidated or individual application, the division must submit an amendment to reflect the current Title II, Part A, allocation. Additionally, a budget transfer request should be submitted to distribute funds according to the budget contained in the final approved application.
