SUBJECT:  Virginia Association of School Superintendents (VASS) Principal Evaluation Workshops

I am pleased to announce the Virginia Association of School Superintendents (VASS) principal evaluation workshops that will provide professional development for superintendents and principals in the implementation of the Board of Education’s recommended model principal evaluation system. The Association is offering the workshop on February 21, 2013, and again on February 22, 2013.  The principal evaluation workshop will be presented by Dr. James Stronge, Heritage Professor of Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership, The College of William and Mary.

You will find under VASS Events on the VASS Web site  information about each workshop content and preregistration.  Principal evaluation workshop onsite registration begins at 8 a.m. with the workshop beginning at 9 a.m. each day.  Dates and locations of the VASS principal evaluation workshops are listed below:
