SUBJECT: Announcing Professional Development for Technology Education Teachers

The Virginia Department of Education is pleased to offer a Microcontroller/Programming Workshop designed for technology education teachers.  This three-day workshop will focus on coding and programming Hummingbird and Arduino Microcontrollers.  For more details refer to Attachment A.  It will be held at WHRO-TV, 5200 Hampton Boulevard, Norfolk, Virginia, on April 10-12, 2017.

Teachers are encouraged to preregister early using the form in Attachment B, as space is limited.  There is no registration fee.  Participants are responsible for all meals, travel-related expenses, and lodging, if needed.  School division’s federal Perkins funds are allowable for this expenditure.
