Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) 2017 Annual Conference
The Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) extends an invitation to superintendents, teachers, building and central office leaders, and teacher educators to attend the 2017 Annual Conference, November 29- December 1 in Williamsburg. The theme of this year’s conference is RE:Thinking.
A day-long Master Class on November 29 will feature maker guru Gary Stager, author of Invent to Learn. That evening, attendees are invited to a free screening of the new documentary RE:Thinking.
Conference keynoters on November 30 and December 1 include:
- George Couros, Author of The Innovator’s Mindset;
Kaleb Rashad, Director of the Gary & Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High;
Dylan Wiliam, Emeritus Professor of Educational Assessment at University College London; and
Consuelo Kickbusch, former Army Officer and activist for America’s youth.
Over 40 concurrent sessions will be presented by and for Virginia educators. In-person and online networking opportunities will be built into the agenda.
