The workshops will focus on the implementation of the Cybersecurity Fundamentals course and will provide instructional methodology and resources.  During the session, the NICERC trainers, through a project-driven approach, will guide teachers through the opportunities, threats, responsibilities, and legal constraints associated with operating in cyberspace.  Teachers will receive access to free, cyber curricula that can be immediately integrated into the courses.

The cybersecurity workshops will be provided through the professional associations as a part of their pre-conference or conference activities.  The individual conference programs give the dates, times, and registration procedures.  Participation in the summer professional training conferences is an allowable expenditure of federal Perkins funds as long as it is included in the approved local plan.
