The Board of Education approved the Advisory Board on Teacher Education and Licensure’s recommendation to accept the recommendation of the on-site accreditation review team that the professional education program at Averett University be “accredited,” indicating that the program has met the standards as set forth in 8VAC-20-542-60 of the Regulations Governing the Review and Approval of Education Programs in Virginia.
