The full text of the Code of Virginia is available on the Internet at http://leg1.state.va.us. Regulations of the Board of Education are available at http://leg1.state.va.us/000/reg/TOC08020.HTM. In addition, the Virginia Department of Education provides detailed tracking reports on General Assembly bills and other actions. The tracking reports and updates may be viewed on the Department's Web site at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/VDOE/PolicyPub/legis98/home.html.

The Virginia School Law Deskbook, Volume I: 2009-2010 School Year Edition is available for purchase in hard copy. The volume combines the Virginia school laws (Title 22.1 of the Code of Virginia); frequently referenced federal laws, including IDEA and NCLB; and the regulations of the Board of Education. The price is $48.00 per copy, plus shipping and handling. A CD-ROM format is available for $91.00.
