By Kids For Kids Program |
I
am pleased to bring to your attention the By Kids For Kids (BKFK) program. This program inspires young innovators to
create and share their ideas and inventions.
Included
on the BKFK Web site, www.bkfk.com, are
materials to help classroom teachers instruct students on how to apply critical
and creative thinking and problem-solving skills through the activity of
creating an invention.
In
2008, BKFK is planning 16 competitions
throughout the year for students in all disciplines. These competitions recognize student
inventions and bring the most creative ideas to the marketplace at no expense
to either the school or to the parents. The current competitions include
the Say It Digital Art Challenge, the Build It Sports Evolution
Challenge, the Design It Signature Style Challenge, and the
Change It Going Green Challenge. Submissions for both the current national
