- SOL Practice Items and Practice Item Guides – Practice items provide examples of the new content and increased rigor of the 2010 Science SOL
- Virginia Electronic Practice Assessment Tool (ePAT) – Released tests presented through the Electronic Practice Assessment Tool (ePAT) application, to closely simulate the online Standards of Learning assessment experience for students
- Released Standards of Learning Test Items – Sample sets of Science Standards of Learning (SOL) tests that were administered to Virginia public school students

- Meaningful Watershed Experience – The Chesapeake 2000 agreement signed by the governors of Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, as well as the mayor of the District of Columbia includes the goal of providing all students a "meaningful watershed experience" before graduation from high school. These experiences connect standards-based classroom activities with hands-on field investigations. The following resources will assist teachers in meeting this requirement:
