Textbook Corrective Action Plans
Publishers of approved textbooks are required to sign an agreement that if factual or editing errors are identified in a publisher’s textbook, the publisher must submit a corrective action plan to VDOE for review and approval by the Board of Education. Publishers must execute corrective action plans at their own expense.

Five Ponds Press – May 9, 2011At its meeting on March 24, 2011, the Virginia Board of Education requested a corrective action plan from Five Ponds Press, Inc., to address errors in its K - 3 history and social science books. The following corrective action plan was approved on May 27, 2011.
