News Release – VDOE & VCU Autism Center Announce New Online Autism Training for School Paraprofessionals.
Nominations for the Aspiring Special Education Leaders Academy will be accepted through April 6, 2012.
Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) – three-part training series begins in November, 2011. For a complete description of the series and registration information, see Superintendent's Memo #179-11

Leadership Academies prepare new directors of special education and potential leaders for future administrative positions in special education. Academies are year-long programs that will include a variety of experiences. Participants will have opportunities to gain knowledge, skills and experiences that will help them excel in positions of special education leadership.
