Each segment includes a video and a resource document. A written transcript for each video is provided as part of the resource document. Dr. Loraine Stewart is an associate professor in the Department of Teaching & Learning at VCU. Her current research is focused on strategies used by teachers to integrate the literature of African-American cultures into classroom instruction and the impact on these cultures on student achievement.
