The Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher (FMF) Program has announced its competition for 2002. For the past five years, this program has provided a unique opportunity for primary and secondary school teachers and administrators in the United States to participate in a fully funded three-week study visit to Japan. The FMF program, which is sponsored by the Japanese government, has enabled 2,900 educators to travel to Japan to study that nation’s culture and educational system. This year, 600 more American educators will be selected as FMF participants.
For information about this program and to receive an application, please go to the FMF/IIE website at www.iie.org/pgms/fmf. Applicants can view the entire 2002 application and apply on-line. Should you require more materials, or have any questions about the program, please contact the FMF Program at 1-888-527-2636 or fmf@iie.org.
