The English Technical Assistance Document for Grades 5 through 12 is now available through the Department of Educations website at http://www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Instruction/eng_resource.html. This document provides clarifications to some of the content in the English Standards of Learning Teacher Resource Guide, and is based upon the recommendations from the Standards of Learning Assessment Content Review Committee. It can be downloaded using PDF or Word Format. Teachers should replace or add pages to the English Standards of Learning Teacher Resource Guide and the aligned curriculum guides in their school divisions.
