Advanced
Placement Test Preparation |
In
preparation for the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) test administration
during the first two weeks of May 2002, the Virginia Department of Education's
Virginia Satellite Educational Network (VSEN) will broadcast examination
preparation lessons in April for VSEN AP courses. Teachers are encouraged to
tape the broadcasts for assistance with test review.
Broadcast
dates are April 11, 18, and 25 according to the following schedule:
April
11, 1:30 p.m. AP Statistics; 2:30 p.m. AP Calculus (AB)
April
18, 1:30 p.m. AP U.S. History; 2:30 p.m. General Exam Preparation
April
25, 1:30 p.m. AP English; 2:30 p.m. AP U.S. Government
All
broadcasts will air on the VSEN satellite, Galaxy 3R, Channel 13. Courses
offered through the Wise County Electronic Classroom air Monday through Friday
from 8:30 a.m. through 1:20 p.m. on Galaxy 3R, Channel 13, for assistance
identifying the correct channel.
