Preparing
Leaders for Effective Special Education |
The School
University Research Network at the College of William and Mary is hosting a
series of workshops on Preparing Leaders For Effective Special Education: Improving the Achievement of Students with
Disabilities. These workshops provide
administrators, aspiring administrators and teacher leaders with resources and
tools to improve the teaching and learning of students with disabilities. All workshops will be held at the William
and Mary Peninsula Center in Oyster Point, Newport News. Participants may register for the full
series of workshops or individual workshops.
The first
workshop will be held on October 28, with the following workshops in
November, December, and January.
Participants must register by November 8, and the registration form is
available on the Internet at: http://www.wm.edu/education/sli/. Workshop sessions will be limited to 40
people but if there is a high response additional workshops sessions may be
held.
