SUBJECT: | By Kids For Kids Program |
I am pleased to bring to your attention the By Kids For Kids (BKFK) program. This program inspires young innovators to create and share their ideas and inventions.
Included on the BKFK website, www.bkfk.com, are materials to help classroom teachers instruct students on how to apply critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills through the activity of creating an invention.
In 2008, BKFK is planning 16 competitions throughout the year for students in all disciplines. These competitions recognize student inventions and bring the most creative ideas to the marketplace at no expense to either the school or to the parents. The current competitions include the Say It Digital Art Challenge, the Build It Sports Evolution Challenge, the Design It Signature Style Challenge, and the Change It Going Green Challenge.
