The Virginia Board for People with Disabilities (VBPD) is seeking applicants for the next class of Partners in Policymaking (PIP), to begin in September 2017. Attendees will learn from state and national experts about how to advocate for more inclusive communities and quality education. This program helps to build positive partnerships between families and community leaders to include schools, employers, and elected officials. Learning how to advocate at the local and state levels improves the lives of those with disabilities and builds stronger communities for everyone.
