ADMINISTRATIVE

  Please update and complete the enclosed survey with 1995-96
  information.  The previous survey that you completed in 1993
  is enclosed for your use and should be used as the basis for
  your updated figures.  For those of you that have had a long
  range capital improvement needs survey completed over the
  last few years (about 50 school divisions), the total cost
  estimate in that report may be revised to current year
  dollars and entered in Item 3 as a 5-year capital
  improvement need.
  
  Our policy of not releasing any information on a division
  basis will continue for this update.  We will publish a
  revised state survey and make the information available to
  the General Assembly and the public on request.  There are
  several joint resolution studies that use information
  generated by our past surveys and it is apparent that our
  documented need for funds for both capital improvements and
  maintenance has been heard.  Please do your best to return
  the survey by May 1, 1996, so the update can be completed by
  July 1, 1996.  Your cooperation and participation in this
  survey is appreciated.
