ADMINISTRATIVE

  This memorandum is the official grant award notification for
  school divisions that have approved applications under the
  Section 619 Early Childhood Special Education Program. 
  Awards are based on the December 1, 1994, child count data
  your division submitted for children with disabilities ages
  3-5 at a per pupil amount of $558.00.  Allocations and the
  application for 1996-97 were provided to your division in
  Administrative Superintendent's Memorandum No. 2, dated
  January 20, 1996.  The amount of each division's award is on
  the attached grant award list.
  
  The 1996-97 grant period is July 1, 1996 through September
  30, 1997.  Funds may not be encumbered after September 30,
  1997. Please be advised that these funds are accessed on a
  cost reimbursement basis and all reimbursement requests must
  be submitted to the Department of Education by November 30,
  1997.
  
  If your division does not appear on the grant award list,
  your application is either pending approval or it has not
  been received by the Virginia Department of Education.
