Enclosed are the September 30, 1996 public school fall membership reports. This information was collected under Administrative Superintendents Memorandum #63, dated September 6, 1996. Detailed enrollment reports, and the enclosed summaries, will be available on Virginia's Public Education Network (Virginia's PEN) after December 13, 1996. The reports can be found under the "Archives of Documents and Software" sub-menu, "Documents" option, "Fall Membership" item. This information is also available on the Department's World Wide Web page, under "Documents and Data," "Fall Membership," "1996." Included with this memo are the following reports: State Summary compiled by Type of School, Grade, and Ethnic Category; Division Summary Grouped by Grade (PK-UG) and by Ethnic Category.
