 Attached are the forms and instructions for reporting crime,
  violence, and substance abuse data in Virginia's public
  schools for school year 1996-97.  This data is being
  collected in compliance with Sect.22.1-280.1 of the Code of
  Virginia.

  Please note that Possession of Beepers has been deleted from
  Table 4. One other change appears in Table 6 in the category
  of Threats.  You are asked to include in the total number of
  threats, (both written and verbal), any that may have been
  identified via the internet. (See Instructions, p. 21).
  Otherwise, this reporting process is the same as in previous
  years; no other changes are required.
