SUBJECT:	Release of Outcome Accountability Project (OAP) Data, Spring 1997

  Listed below are the dates for the 1997 release of the OAP
  data.  The 1997 OAP reports contain data from the 1990-91
  through 1995-96 school years and are reported by division
  and school.  

  Media Kit, State, Division            March 13, 1997
  and School Reports with
  embargo sent to Superintendent

  State, Division, and School           March 18, 1997
  Reports sent to             
  individual schools
  Information released to               March 20, 1997
  press with embargo                 

  Board of Education meeting            March 27, 1997
  Embargo lifts at 3:00 p.m.

  As you are aware, the testing program has changed, and this
  will require a review of the status of the OAP process.
