Data Collection Forms for Students Not Graduating Because
They Have Not Passed the Literacy Passport Test |
The purpose of this memo is to inform you that data collection forms and instructions to collect information regarding students who will not receive a Standard or Advanced Studies Diploma this year solely because they have not passed all portions of the Literacy Passport Test (LPT) have been sent to your Division Director of Testing. We have tried to ask for the pertinent information in an efficient manner. For each division, we have enclosed two (2) LPT Data Collection Forms which will allow you to report up to thirty (30) students. These data collection forms are due to the Department of Education on or before July 11, 1997. We extend our appreciation to you in seeing that we are provided with this important information. Questions about this data collection should be directed to Judy Singh at (804) 786-1390 or Shelley Loving-Ryder at (804) 225-2936. RTL/mwc Attachments: A hard copy of this memo and its attachments will be sent to the superintendent's office.
