SUBJECT:	Test Date: Limited Fall Field Test for the Standards of Learning Assessment

  Informational Supts. Memo. #123, dated July 25, 1997, 
  discussed the upcoming Limited Standards of Learning Fall
  Field Test.  The date of the field test itself was
  inadvertently left out of the memo.  The field test will be
  conducted September 15-19, 1997.  We regret that this vital
  information was omitted from the previous memo.  Materials
  shipment dates and dates and locations of the regional
  meetings to be held prior to the fall field testing will be
  sent directly to your designated Division Director of
  Testing.

  Questions regarding the field test should be directed to the
  staff of the Division of Assessment and Reporting at
