SUBJECT:	School Dropout Prevention Awareness Week

  In 1994, the General Assembly passed House Joint Resolution
  No. 382, designating the second week in September each year
  as "School Dropout Prevention Awareness Week."  You are
  encouraged to conduct activities that will heighten public
  awareness of the consequences of dropping out of school as
  well as those that will encourage all young people to remain
  in school until graduation.

  We appreciate your cooperation in this effort.  If you have
  questions about this initiative, they may be referred to H.
