SUBJECT: 1997-98 Status Questionnaire and 1998-99 Driver Education Program Approval Application 

  
  We need your assistance with the collection of the 1997-98
  Status Questionnaire data and the completion of the 1998-99
  Driver Education Program Approval Application.  A copy of
  the attached information will also be mailed to your
  principals.

  The information submitted on the Status Questionnaire will
  determine your 1997-98 per pupil state reimbursement for in-car
  instruction.  School codes and other information
  reported on your program approval applications will be
  communicated to the Department of Motor Vehicles.  Please
  also indicate the place and date of the paraprofessional
  driver education in-service training as required by the Code
  of Virginia.  We would appreciate receiving this information
  no later than June 30, 1998.
