Enclosed you will find the final FY 1998 (July 1, 1998-June 30, 1999) allocation tables for local school divisions. Final allocations for the Commonwealth of Virginia have been confirmed by the U.S. Department of Education as follows: Governor's Share (20%) $1,939,234 Virginia Department of Education (80%) $7,756,936 Total Virginia Allotment $9,696,170 Virginia Department of Education: Programs & Administration $ 698,124 School Divisions (70% - Entitlement) $4,941,168 School Divisions (30% - Greatest Need) $2,117,644 Total to Virginia Department of Education $7,756,936 The enclosed tables provide final notification of school division allocations under SDFSCA State Grants at the level appropriated by Congress.
