  Enclosed are the September 30, 1998 public school Fall
  Membership reports.  This information was collected in
  accordance with Administrative Superintendents Memorandum
  #62, dated September 4, 1998.  

  Included with this memo are three reports:  "State
  Summary by Grade and Ethnic Group", "Division Summary by
  Ethnic Group with Limited English Proficient Counts" and
  "Division Summary by Grade".  Detailed Fall Membership
  data, including Pupil/Teacher ratios and Home
  Instruction/Religious Exemption counts, will soon be
  accessible by following the links from the "Data and
  Publications" button on the Department of Education's
  website: www.pen.k12.va.us.
