SUBJECT: | 1998-99 Vocational Education Entitlements and Equipment Reimbursement |
The financial reports have been tabulated, and final state entitlements for vocational education are attached. A payment will be made to school divisions on the February 16, 1999, electronic funds transfer (EFT) for the occupational preparation and adult funds. Enclosed are reimbursement forms for occupational preparation/technology education equipment expenditures. The completed forms should be submitted to Mrs. Patricia Brooks by June 11, 1999. Reimbursement may be submitted for the equipment in the Recommended Equipment Approved for Vocational Education Programs listing, 1997 edition. All other purchased equipment must have a letter of prior approval from a state program specialist. Invoices and/or purchase orders should not be submitted without check numbers and dates paid. It is imperative that the Inventory of Equipment Purchased With Vocational Funds (Form NA.011) be completed for any purchased item costing $300 or more. Record/item Numbers can be referenced to the Recommended Equipment Approved for Vocational Programs listing under individual program service number headings. A calculator tape must be attached to the purchase order for each program service or invoices should be provided showing the total amount being claimed on the reimbursement request. Reimbursement for equipment will be 50 percent of the total expenditures claimed up to your approved entitlement amount. Any questions concerning the entitlements may be addressed to Mrs. Leigh H.
