Enclosed is the most recent edition of the Board of Education Regulations. Please note the changed format from the previous regulations revised in 1993. In 1992, the General Assembly authorized the codification and publication of an Administrative Code for Virginia that includes regulations of each of the state agencies. The new regulations of the Board of Education conform to that Administrative Code format. As the Board promulgates new regulations or amends regulations, the department will provide you with inserts or replacements so that you can maintain a current version of the Board's regulations.
