SUBJECT: | 4-SAFE-VA Training |
The purpose of this memo is to provide notification about an upcoming 8-hour training program directed specifically toward school support personnel. This training is being provided through the 4-SAFE-VA Project at the direction of the Office of the Governor and coordinated by the Virginia Department of State Police. Training will be conducted during the week of August 16-20, 1999, at eight regional locations within the commonwealth. The training curriculum will focus on aspects of school safety that will enhance the ability for support personnel to recognize and respond to various types of critical incidents. Support personnel are typically the people who are in a position to observe key indicators leading to an incident. Please duplicate the enclosed registration form as necessary.
