SUBJECT:	Guidelines for Implementing the Standards of Accreditation

At its meeting on November 30, 2000, the Board of Education adopted Guidelines Governing Certain Provisions of the Regulations Establishing Standards for Accrediting Public Schools in Virginia (8 VAC 20-131-10 et. seq.). Final editing and technical amendments have been made to the guidelines, and they have now been posted on the Office of Accreditation’s page of the Department’s website at http://www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Accountability/accreditation.htm. The guidelines may be downloaded if you choose to do so.
