SUBJECT:	Virginia Character Education Project (V-CEP)

This memo is to request your assistance with Virginias Character Education Project. As you know, the Department of Education received a three-year grant to provide technical assistance and to disseminate information statewide related to the development and implementation of character education programs.

As part of this initiative, we want to develop an informal needs assessment and a list of individuals in each school division who are responsible for character education. The information you provide will be useful in helping us to determine the level of need throughout the state, and it will enable us to communicate efficiently with the appropriate person in your school division.

Please help us by completing the enclosed survey. It is brief and should require only a few minutes of your time. We appreciate your help.
