Attached is a
summary of your school divisions federal technology grants status (the Web
site version of attachment A is a display of the format and does not contain
data). Due to a change in federal
government reimbursement procedures, all of these funds must have been encumbered by June 28, 2002, and final
claims must be submitted to the Department of Education by September 30, 2002.
For your
convenience, we have linked updated reimbursement handbooks for Goals 2000 (B
and C) and the Technology Literacy Challenge Grant (D).
Please
complete the attached form reporting the status of the grant award balances to
the Department of Education by fax at (804) 371-2455, or by regular mail by
August 30, 2002.
