Spring School Improvement Data Collection |
In order to comply with the reporting requirements stipulated in section 1111 (h)(4)(F) of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, school divisions that have schools in Title I School Improvement must report annually information related to local implementation of public school choice and supplemental educational services.
To ensure accuracy in reporting, a Web-based system has been developed for school divisions to use in entering the data for the 2004-2005 school year. Users completing the survey will view all information previously submitted in the fall 2004 survey to make necessary changes. When completed, the spring survey should represent actual public school choice and supplemental educational services implementation during the 2004-2005 school year. The Web-based survey will ask schools to 1) verify and update the data previously submitted, and 2) respond to additional questions.
The survey should be submitted electronically through the Single Sign-On for Web Systems (SSWS), and may be accessed at https://eb01.vak12ed.edu/ssws/com/vdoe/dataAdmin/jsp/LoginContainer.jsp
Detailed instructions for completing the survey are included on the website. The deadline for completion of the survey is Monday, June 27, 2005.
For questions regarding the spring 2005 School Improvement Survey, please contact Rita Ghazal, Title I specialist, at Rita.Ghazal@doe.virginia.gov or (804) 225-2904.
