The
Virginia Department of Education is pleased to provide a Teacher Resource
Catalog CD-ROM in Microsoft Word and .pdf formats for teachers of United States
History to 1877, United States History: 1877 to the Present, and Civics and
Economics. This resource catalog
contains copies of Virginia Department of Education documents pertinent to the
targeted History and Social Science Standards of Learning. The Teacher Resource Catalog CD-ROM is
intended to assist teachers in developing their lessons by providing key
documents and informational memorandums.
These documents are listed under two topics: Planning and Teaching Documents
and Background Information Documents for each course.
The
approximate numbers of Teacher Resource Catalog CD-ROM for each of your
teachers of United States History to 1877, United States History: 1877 to the
Present, and Civics and Economics are scheduled to be mailed to your central
office during the week of April 25-29, 2005.
