Assistance Academy for New Coordinators of Title I, Part A; Title II, Part A;
Title II, Part D; Title III, Part A; and Title IV, Part A |
The
Virginia Department of Education is pleased to announce a professional
development academy on July 15-16, 2008, for new coordinators in the following
programs:
The
academy will assist new coordinators in understanding the requirements of the No
Child Left Behind Act of 2001, as related to the respective programs. A
draft agenda is attached.
The
academy will be held at the Sheraton Park South Hotel in
The Office of Continuing and Professional Education
at Virginia Tech will manage the registration.
Please register online at http://www.cpe.vt.edu/reg/ncm/. The
deadline for registration for the academy is July 1, 2008. Questions regarding

Breaks
and lunch will be provided. Lodging, if
required, will be master billed. Mileage and meals not covered on the master
bill may be charged to the respective local federal program, in accordance with
state travel guidelines. If lodging is
