Nominations
for the Governor's Career and Technical Education Exemplary Standards Awards |
The
Virginia Career Education Foundation (VCEF) is accepting nominations for the
Governor's Career and Technical Education Exemplary Standards Awards. The awards program is part of
The
first Governor's Career and Technical Education Exemplary Standards Awards will
be made in November 2008. In addition to
the state recognition, winners will receive a $5,000 grant to pursue continued
program improvement activities. Nominations
of outstanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are due May 16,
2008. Additional documentation to complete the nomination form is due November
7, 2008. Finalists from the application review will have an on-site visit and
interviews to determine award recipients.
The
Governor's Career and Technical Education Standards, the nomination form and
additional application information are available on the VCEF website at www.vcef.net.
