SUBJECT:	2008 Virginia School and Campus Safety Training Forum

 

The 2008 Virginia School and Campus Safety Training Forum will be held August 5-6, 2008, at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, VA. The forum will follow a similar format to that of the annual Virginia School Safety Conference of previous years. Partnering with the Department of Criminal Justice Services, Virginia Center for School Safety, to offer this collective training opportunity are the Departments of Education, Health, and Emergency Management, Alcoholic Beverage Control, Virginia State Police, the Office of the Attorney General, the Virginia Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, the University of Virginia, the Virginia Community College System, and the U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance. Conference attendance will provide a wealth of information for anyone interested in the most current school and campus safety issues and concerns.

 

The registration fee for the forum is $125.00, and the deadline for registration is July 25, 2008. Please be sure to register early because participation is limited.
