The charts below list the score ranges for the proficiency levels of proficient and advanced for the Virginia Grade Level Alternative (VGLA) in history/social science for Grade 3, Virginia Studies, United States History to 1865, United States History: 1865 to the Present, and Civics & Economics. The score ranges provided are based on the cut scores adopted by the Virginia Board of Education at its May 19, 2011, meeting.
