SUBJECT:  Report on Online Learning Opportunities

Item 139 B. 27. of the 2012 Appropriation Act (Chapter 3) contains the following reporting provision related to online learning opportunities provided by school divisions:

By August 15, 2012, each superintendent is requested to submit to the Department of Education a brief description of the range of online learning opportunities currently underway in the school division and any being planned or under consideration in the future, if applicable.

In accordance with this reporting provision, the Department of Education requests that school divisions complete the brief survey located at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JZ2DYKH by Wednesday, August 15.
