Virtual Virginia, the Department of Education’s online program, offers 54 online courses, including certain core, Advanced Placement, world language, and elective courses. Enrollment for the 2014-15 academic year opens for Virginia public school students on April 1, 2014. There is no tuition charged for public school students who enroll in standard core, world language, and elective courses. Virginia public school students participating in the Early College Scholars (ECS) program may also take Advanced Placement courses tuition free. Enrollment for nonpublic and out-of-state students will open on July 1, 2014. More information about tuition, withdrawal fees, and course requirements is found at www.virtualvirginia.org.
As in past years, all students who withdraw from courses after 21 calendar days will be charged a $75 withdrawal fee. No tuition will be refunded after 60 calendar days.
