SUBJECT: 2016 Mathematics Standards of Learning and Curriculum Framework
To assist school divisions in aligning existing curriculum to the revised 2016 Mathematics Standards of Learning and Curriculum Framework, I am pleased to inform you that the final versions of these documents are now posted to the Virginia Department of Education’s website at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/testing/sol/standards_docs/mathematics/2016/index.shtml. Crosswalk (Summary of Revisions) documents for each grade level and course, which provide a summary of additions, deletions, and edits, are also available.
As previously stated in Superintendent’s Memo #244-16, the implementation timeline for the 2016 Mathematics Standards of Learning and Curriculum Framework follows:
2016-2017 School Year – Crosswalk between 2009 Mathematics Standards of Learning and 2016 Mathematics Standards of Learning

2018-2019 School Year – Full-Implementation Year
