SUBJECT: | Public Hearings on the Proposed Computer Science Standards of Learning |
The Virginia Board of Education will hold two public hearings to solicit comments on the proposed Computer Science Standards of Learning-This is a PDF document. (PDF). The Standards of Learning identify the essential knowledge and skills for each grade level. Comments regarding the proposed Standards of Learning may be offered at the public hearings or through the public comment form on the Computer Science Public Hearings webpage. Additional information can also be accessed on the Virginia Department of Education’s Computer Science webpage.
The public hearings will begin at 7 p.m. Registration of speakers will begin at 6:30 p.m. Speakers will have three minutes to speak and should bring a copy of their comments for the Board of Education. The two public hearings will be held at the following locations:
- September 6, 2017 – 6:30 p.m.
