George Mason University (GMU) Education Workforce Event
On March 8, 2018, George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government and College of Education and Human Development are jointly hosting “Strengthening the Pipeline from School to Work: Policy and Practice in Forging School and Industry Partnerships.” This event will highlight the importance of education and business partnerships that can provide work-based learning experiences for high school students. It will also spotlight successful school-industry partnerships that create work-based learning opportunities for secondary school students and will be keynoted by former Secretary of Education, Dr. Arne Duncan. This event will be at held at GMU’s Arlington Campus and will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m.
